The Langley fort was saved by a giant crab, said to be the guardian spirit of the Koolu Koolu people. With its gigantic clamps, the crab cut the humongous slug into pieces. Nowadays, you can still find the sculpture of the crab in front of the HR MacMillan Space Canter near the Vanier Park in the city of Vancouver (picture above).
