Cypress Provincial Park will be one of the venues for the 2010 Winter Olympics. West Vancouver is also a 2006 Cultural Capital of Canada. West Vancouver is situated at 49° 19' N 123° 9' W, in the Pacific Time Zone (UTC-8). The city is a part of Metro Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, northwest of the city of Vancouver on Burrard Inlet and Howe Sound.
