The problem about plastic bag had been hugely exaggerated... True, billions of plastic bag is found in garbage dump, but why? It's simply because people use them as garbage bags. Personally, I've never thrown away a single plastic bag directly, but I always ued them as garbage bags... By getting less plastic bags from supermarket, do you expect people to carry their garbage with their hands? Probably not very realistic. They will simply have to buy more plastic bag... So the problem is not plastic bag but garbage itself... you know, the million nameless garbages that's so hard to pinpoint and demonized...
